About the Rohlig-Grindrod YES Programme
The programme gives unemployed young South Africans an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience in the logistics, freight forwarding and supply-chain industry.
Successful applicants will receive on-the-job training during a 12-month placement, making the programme especially suitable for young people who have Matric but limited formal work experience. Pasted text
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have completed Matric / Grade 12.
- Have at least 50% in English.
- Have at least 50% in Mathematics.
- Be South African citizens.
- Be 35 years old or younger.
- Be currently unemployed.

Johannesburg / Sandton, Gauteng
The Gauteng opportunity is linked to the Johannesburg division and is based at Rohlig-Grindrod’s Head Office in Linbro Park.
Gqeberha / Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
The Eastern Cape opportunity is based at the company’s offices in Walmer.
Durban Sea Freight, KwaZulu-Natal
This opportunity is based within the Sea Freight Division in Durban.
Cape Town, Western Cape
The Cape Town placement is based at Rohlig-Grindrod’s Airport City offices.
