SANParks is offering Tourism Internship opportunities for passionate young graduates who are interested in tourism, hospitality, conservation and the environment.
The programme will run for a period of 12 months, and successful candidates will be required to sign a contract for the duration of the training.
About SANParks Tourism Internships 2026
The SANParks Tourism Graduates Programme is aimed at young South Africans who want to gain practical workplace experience in the tourism and environmental sector.
Successful candidates will be placed at Karoo National Park, where they will gain exposure to tourism operations, hospitality services and conservation-related work.
Candidates must note that they will be responsible for their own accommodation and transport.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be South African citizens.
Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Be in possession of a tertiary qualification.
Have a National Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality or Conservation.
Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays and when required.
Be passionate about tourism and hospitality.
Be eager to grow within the tourism and environmental sector.

Important Information

Preference will be given to candidates with a tertiary qualification in Tourism and Hospitality.
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to an interview to determine their suitability.
Successful candidates may also be required to undergo a medical assessment.

If applicants have not been contacted within two weeks of the closing date, they should accept that their application was unsuccessful.
