South African Police Service is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme funded by the Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA).
This 24-month Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL) internship programme is part of South Africa’s National Skills Development Strategy and Human Resource Development Strategy, aimed at helping graduates gain practical workplace experience.

The programme allows graduates to gain experience in different divisions of SAPS such as social services, psychology support, crime intelligence, auditing, and risk management.
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have a National Senior Certificate (Matric) or NCV Level 4
- Be unemployed
- Have no criminal record or pending cases
- Never participated in a similar internship programme
- Apply for a maximum of three positions (separate application form per post)
