Sasol invites South African unemployed youth to apply for Learnership Programme 2025.

Available Learnerships in Secunda and Sasolburg

Sasol is currently offering Learnerships in the following fields:

  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Instrument Mechanic
  • Electrician
  • Turning
  • Welder
  • Boilermaker
  • Chemical Plant Operator

These Learnerships offer a combination of structured institutional learning and practical, hands-on training. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience while working at Sasolโ€™s state-of-the-art facilities.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for the Learnership program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A completed National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification with a pass in:
    • Technical Mathematics / Mathematics (SG/HG)
    • English / Business English (SG/HG)
    • Technical / Physical Science (SG/HG)

These requirements ensure that candidates have a strong foundation in the technical and scientific principles necessary for a successful career as an artisan.

  • Secunda, Mpumalanga
  • Sasolburg, Free State

Both positions are offered on a fixed-term contract basis as part of the Learnership program.
