South African Reserve Bank invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Work Integrated Learning Programme (WILP) 2025.
Internship Application Closing Date: 08 May 2025
Internship Location: South African Reserve Bank (SARB), Head Office in Pretoria, SABN in Pretoria North, and SARB cash centres in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.
About the Programme:
The South African Reserve Bank (SARB), in partnership with the South African Bank Note Company (SABN), offers the Work Integrated Learning Programme (WILP) to address technical and engineering skills shortages in South Africa.
The WILP is designed for:
- Artisan learners from FET Colleges with an N4 certificate needing 36 months of practical experience for a trade qualification or trade test. Disciplines include: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Carpentry.
- Technician learners from Universities of Technology with at least an S4, needing 12 months of practical experience to complete their national diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Successful candidates will be placed at:
- SARB Head Office – Pretoria
- SABN – Pretoria North
- SARB Cash Centres – Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg
A monthly stipend will be provided for the duration of the programme.
