Programme Purpose
The Sector Specific Trainee Programme aims to:
- Equip participants with practical skills and exposure to industry-specific tasks.
- Enhance employability through training, mentorship, and performance reviews.
- Develop a pipeline for key roles within Transnet Port Terminals (TPT).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in departmental projects and operational tasks.
- Support administrative functions, documentation, and reporting.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programmes.
- Shadow experienced professionals to gain industry insights.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Advantageous: TVET N6 in Logistics/Transport
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
