- Electrical Engineering – Heavy Current (3 bursaries)
- BTech / Advanced Diploma / BSc Engineering
- Chemical Engineering (Metallurgy) (2 bursaries)
- BSc or Advanced Diploma in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering (1 bursary)
- BTech / Advanced Diploma / BSc Engineering
- Mine Survey (1 bursary)
- Bachelor of Mine Surveying / Advanced Diploma in Mine Surveying
Who Can Apply?
Matriculants
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens aged 18–35 years
- Have a Bachelor’s pass in Matric
- Have university acceptance for 2026 in one of the listed fields
- Not be receiving another bursary or financial aid
University Students
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens aged 18–35 years
- Be enrolled full-time at a South African University or University of Technology
- Be studying in one of the approved fields listed above
- Have a strong academic record (average B-symbol / passed all subjects)
- Preference will be given to 1st-year students
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Recent academic record (including previous years where applicable)
- Matric results or Grade 11 results with university acceptance
- Proof of current registration at a University / University of Technology or proof of having completed Matric
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Proof of residential address
- Clearly indicate the field of study you are applying for
