Number of Posts: 30

Contract Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Stipend: R3 036 per month

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

Grade 10, be physically able and fit, have good interpersonal skills, certified ID copy and proof of residence from Ward Councillor.

Key Performance Areas

Successful applicants will assist with improving waste outlook in catchment areas, creating baseline information regarding waste in Umzimvubu Municipality, enhancing waste management visibility for communities, promoting healthy living for all citizens, identifying illegal dumping sites, encouraging citizens to dispose waste into bins, supporting no-littering campaigns and supporting the sorting-at-source initiative for waste.

EPWP: Waste Management Team Leaders

Number of Posts: 02

Contract Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Stipend: R3 800 per month

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

Grade 12, N6 in Office Administration, computer literacy, communication skills, interpersonal skills, certified ID copy and proof of residence from Ward Councillor.

Key Performance Areas

Successful applicants will supervise beneficiaries on site, perform administrative functions, monitor attendance daily, maintain site registers and perform other supervisory duties assigned by the supervisor.

EPWP: Project Coordinator

Number of Posts: 01

Contract Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Stipend: R3 300 per month

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

Grade 12, Bachelor of Science / BA in Environmental Sciences or Management, Diploma in Environmental Management or equivalent qualification, computer literacy, certified ID copy and proof of residence from Ward Councillor.

Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will coordinate the project, compile and submit monthly progress reports, perform administrative functions, be responsible for project management of the whole project and perform other administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.

Work Schedule: 12 days in a month, 3 days a week

Stipend: R1 656 per month

Work Schedule: 12 days in a month, 3 days a week

Contract Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Stipend: R1 656 per month

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

Grade 10, certified ID copy, must be physically fit and proof of residence from Ward Councillor.

Key Performance Areas

Successful applicants will plant trees and shrubs along the banks of rivers and streams, prepare sites before planting trees and dig planting holes to the correct depth and width based on tree species.
