UNISA: ETDP-SETA Internships 2025 / 2026

The University of South Africa (UNISA), in collaboration with the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP-SETA), invites unemployed graduates to apply for the Internship Programme 2025/2027.

Internship Duration: 24 Months
Start Date: 01 October 2025
Stipend: R120,925.00 per annum
Closing Date: 05 September 2025
Internship Location: UNISA, Muckleneuk / Sunnyside, Pretoria, South Africa


Internship Overview

This internship programme offers unemployed South African graduates an opportunity to gain practical work experience while developing critical workplace skills. The initiative is aimed at UNISA graduates who have completed qualifications at NQF Level 6 and above, and who are eager to gain experience in their field of study.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must have completed a UNISA qualification at NQF Level 6 or above.
  • Applicants must be 35 years or younger.
  • No prior formal work experience in the field of study.
  • Applicants must be UNISA graduates in the relevant field of study.
  • Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants previously employed by UNISA or any other organisation will not be considered.
  • Position reference number and UNISA student number must be indicated on the application portal.
