The University of Venda (Univen) has officially opened its registration process for the 2026 academic year. All admitted first-time entering and returning students are invited to complete their registration in line with the university’s approved registration schedule.
Univen has confirmed that applications for admission closed on 30 September 2025 and will not be reopened. Walk-ins for admission are therefore not allowed, as the university has fully automated its selection and admission processes.
Important Admission and Selection Information
- Applications for 2026 closed on 30 September 2025
- The application process will not be reopened
- Walk-ins are not attended to
- Grade 12 (NSC) results are obtained directly from the Department of Basic Education
- Prospective students are not required to submit statements of results in person
