Pastor Mdletshe and MaNzuza’s frustration grow as they can’t figure out what is wrong with Mxolisi. Mbhekiseni makes a good impression on MaNgcobo and he and MaMlambo finally kiss. Nkunzi shows Mxolisi proof that his father killed in Swaziland.

Nosipho and MaNgobo find each other after a heartfelt conversation. Pastor Mdletshe and MaNzuza worry that Mxolisi has gone back to crime. Mxolisi is livid with Sbu as an ATM bombing goes wrong. MaMlambo has second thoughts about her relationship with Mbhekiseni and wants to slow things down.

Mxolisi is ready to come clean about the ATM bombings but Pastor Mdletshe and Nkunzi puts him in a corner that he cannot get out of. Zekhetelo is hopeful that Mxolisi will open up to her, but he denies any feelings for her and apoligises for wasting her time. MaMlambo’s heart breaks as she realizes too late the she really wants Mbhekiseni in her life.

MaNzuza is livid as Pastor Mdletshe kicks Mxolisi out of the house after a dunken incident. Mxolisi wants to take out Nkunzi. Mastermind tells Mxolisi they need to get closer to Nkunzi in order to kill him. Mbhekiseni has left town and MaMlambo only has herself to blame for losing him.

Mxolisi and Mastermind plot to get rid of Nkunzi using Sbu as bait. The choir celebrates good news. Mbekhiseni returns and he and MaMlambo declare their love for each other. A shocking incident from the past enters Thobile’s world when it turns out Mbhekiseni is her uncle.

Mbhekiseni is happy that his niece, Thobile, stays close to him. Thobile however, does not look too happy. Nosipho and Mondli get closer but Nosipho wants them to be friends only. Mastermind and Mxolisi work on their plan mislead Sbu into getting rid of Nkunzi.

Smangele makes a shocking discovery about Mbhekiseni’s role in Thobile’s past while Mbhekiseni joins the church. Something goes horribly wrong at a church service that was supposed to be a happy affair. Mondli wants more than friendship with Nosipho. MaNgobo and MaNzuza has a heart to heart and they forgive each other for the past.

Captain Mthimkhulu berates Mondli for not capturing Sbu. Nkunzi is also furious that Mastermind didn’t take out Sbu. Thobile is horrified when MaMlambo arrives at the salon with Mbhekiseni by her side and she confronts him about abusing her as a child. Mxolisi comes clean to his father about his criminal activities.

Mxolisi is terrified Nkunzi will kill him. Pastor Mdletshe and Nkunzi brawl. MaNzuza is shocked that Nkunzi is a criminal. Mbhekiseni is investigated for rape. MaMlambo pledge her support for Mbhekiseni. Thobile, Smangele and GC quit the choir. MaNzuza is worried the choir won’t perform to expectations when Mxolisi also quits the choir.

Nkunzi decides to deal with Mxolisi the only way he knows how to deal with a traitor. Thobile seems to have made an enemy out of those willing to protect her alleged rapist. GC takes the bull by the horns where the choir is concerned.

Nkunzi orders Mxolisi out of the car in a deserted area and Mxolisis thinks he is about to be killed. Thobile contemplates suicide after the police tells her that it is her word against that of Mbhekiseni. The police cars skid to a stop and surround Nkunzi’s car.

GC is shocked as Smangele reveals Mbhekiseni is up for bail. Moxlisi convinces the Mdletshes that they will be in danger if they report Nkunzi to the cops. Mondli calls out Pastor Mdletshe and MaNzuza for changing their story about Nkunzi. Nosipho is hurt about Mondli being judgemental towards prostitutes.

Captain Mthimkhulu believes Nkunzi has threatened the Mdletshe’s. Mondli begs MaNzuza to give up Nkunzi to avoid Mxolisi going to jail. Thobile is accused of lying and making up rape allegations. Mbhekiseni tells the church he is the victim. Nkunzi invites Mxolisi for a special breakfast.

Mondli tries to get Mastermind to turn on Nkunzi and help bring him down, but Mastermind is not sure. Nkunzi proposes to MaNgcobo and she accepts, making Mxolisi realise that there is nothing he can do to break Nkunzi and MaNgcobo up.
Thobile struggles with the treatment she is now getting from the community.
