Volkswagen Group South Africa (Pty) Ltd invites South African TVET College students residing in Kariega and Gqeberha to apply for the Experiential Trainee Programme 2026 within the Learning Academy – Human Resources (Kariega). This programme is aimed at N6 students who require practical workplace experience to complete their National N Diploma.

About the Experiential Trainee Programme

The Experiential Trainee Programme is designed for TVET College N6 students who still require practical workplace exposure to complete their National N Diploma. Trainees will receive hands-on, on-the-job training in a suitable area linked to their field of study within the Learning Academy – Human Resources.

This programme provides a solid foundation for students to build long-term careers within the corporate and human resources environment.


Programme Details

  • Programme Type: Experiential Trainee Programme (HR Learning Academy)
  • Duration: 18 months
  • Start Date: 01 March 2026
  • End Date: 31 August 2027
  • Training Method: On-the-job practical training aligned to qualification

Fields of Study Accepted

Applicants must have completed N6 in one of the following fields:

  • Business Management N6
  • Management Assistant N6
  • Financial Management N6
  • Human Resource Management N6
  • Office Management N6

Minimum Requirements

To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Completed N6 certificate within the last 3 years
  • Must still require practical experience to obtain a National N Diploma
  • Must be residing in Kariega or Gqeberha
  • Must be able to provide N6 results and transcript
  • Be willing to participate in an 18-month training programme

Added Advantage

  • Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
