WSP Engineering Bursaries 2026

WSP invites South African students to apply for the Engineering Bursary Programme 2026.

Bursary Application Closing Date: 30 September 2025
Bursary Location: South Africa (study at any recognised and accredited SA university)


Fields of Study

Bursaries will be awarded for Engineering degree studies (BEng / BSc Eng / BIng) in:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Extra exposure: Bursary recipients may be offered vacation work and considered for employment opportunities after graduation (where available).


Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following minimum criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Have completed Matric
  • Be studying toward one of the listed Engineering degrees (BEng / BSc Eng / BIng)
  • Be entering 2nd, 3rd or final year of study in 2026
  • Be registered at a recognised and accredited South African university
  • Have a minimum overall average of 65% to date
  • Have passed all 2025 subjects to date
  • Be passionate about Engineering and dedicated to your studies
  • Not be in receipt of any other bursary or scholarship
  • Preference may be given to previously disadvantaged candidates

  • SA ID (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate (certified copy)
  • Proof of university registration (certified copy)
  • Most recent full tertiary academic transcript/progress report (university-stamped)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) with contact details (cellphone number & email)
