Limpopo Department of Health: Bursaries Programme 2017

Limpopo Department of Health is offering bursaries programme for the academic year 2017 in South Africa. All full-time students and Grade 12 leaners who are not employed by the Department, and have applied or are already registered at a recognized Institution of Higher Learning in South Africa are encouraged to apply.

Bursary Application deadline is 30 November  2016

Requirements

Certified copies of the following documents should be attached to this application form and sent to the address mentioned above:

  • South African Identity Document of applicant
  • Grade 12 Certificate for post matric pupils
  • Academic records if already at University
  • Proof of residence of applicant
  • Proof of salary advice/s of parent/s or guardian
  • An affidavit and ID copy of parent/s or guardian if unemployed
  • Year end results for applicants currently doing matric and those at tertiary institutions to be submitted before or by the end of the first week of January 2017.

Completed Bursary Application Forms without the stamp of Commissioner of Oaths on page 4 will be nullified forthwith. Post the completed application form to the below mentioned address: Department of Health, 18 College street, Polokwane or at Department of Health District offices at: Sekhukhune, Waterberg, Capricorn, Vhembe and Mopani on or before the 30th of November 2016. All students are advised to apply to the Tertiary Institution of their choice for admission as it is not the Department’s responsibility. Late applications after the closing date are not accepted.

N.B. You may submit your application through your nearest Department of Health District Office. The application for a Departmental bursary does not immediately guarantee that one will be awarded a bursary. The bursaries are awarded being influenced by the Department’s skills need analysis and its financial affordability during each particular financial year.

Notifications

If you do not receive telephonic or mail response about the status of your application from the Department by the end of February 2017, please consider your application as having been unsuccessful.
