The Expanded Public Works Programme is aimed at providing temporary employment, work experience and skills development to unemployed South Africans.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have Grade 12 / Matric.
Applicants must have an N6 Certificate in Catering and Hospitality Management from a TVET College.
Computer literacy is required.
Applicants must be able to work in food preparation environments and have knowledge of food safety standards.
Duties
Successful applicants will assist with preparing meals for patients, supporting therapeutic diets, serving food to wards, cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining food hygiene standards, dishwashing, packing and labelling meals, and ensuring food safety compliance.
EPWP Infrastructure General Workers X3 Posts
These positions are available for applicants who can assist with basic infrastructure and maintenance support.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum ABET qualification.
Infrastructure maintenance exposure will be advantageous.
Experience with hand tools and power tools will also be beneficial.
A reference letter showing relevant exposure is recommended.
Duties
Successful applicants will assist with maintenance support, basic repair work, equipment servicing, fault reporting, infrastructure upkeep and general handyman support.
Water Softening Plant Operators X7 Posts
These opportunities are for applicants with interest or exposure in plumbing or water softening plant operations.
Monthly Stipend: R4,121.76
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have Grade 12 / Matric.
Exposure to plumbing or water softening plant operations will be beneficial.
Water softening or plumbing certificates will be an added advantage.
Applicants must have basic technical knowledge and an understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Duties
Successful applicants will operate water softening plants, conduct maintenance checks, service equipment, keep maintenance records and report faults or repairs.
EPWP Admin Clerk: Asset Management X82 Posts
These posts are available for applicants interested in asset management and administration.
Monthly Stipend: R4,121.76
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have Grade 12 / Matric.
Applicants must have an N6 qualification in one of the following fields:
Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Logistics Management, Purchasing Management, Commerce or Public Management.
Computer literacy is required.
Knowledge of PFMA and Treasury Regulations will be beneficial.
Duties
Successful applicants will assist with asset register maintenance, asset verification, inventory management, asset movement tracking, disposal records and monthly reconciliations.
EPWP General Workers X1,244 Posts
This is the largest category in the Limpopo Health EPWP recruitment drive.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum ABET qualification.
Exposure to hospital or healthcare environments will be advantageous.
Applicants must be able to perform physically demanding work.
Candidates must also be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
Duties
Successful applicants may assist with general support duties in hospitals, clinics, community health centres, district offices and other health facilities.
Duties may include cleaning, laundry support, porter support, ward support, hygiene maintenance, waste disposal and other facility support tasks.
