Moses Kotane Local Municipality invites unemployed youth to apply for the 12-Month Internship Programme 2025

Moses Kotane Local Municipality, in partnership with Hamonate Consulting and BANK SETA, is offering a 12-month internship programme for unemployed youth residing within the municipality. This initiative provides an opportunity for participants to gain valuable workplace experience while earning a monthly stipend of R6,000.

- Civil Engineering (2 positions)
- Public Relations / Communications (3 positions)
- Human Resources (2 positions)
- Labour Relations / HR with Labour Relations Major (3 positions)
- Environmental Management / Science (4 positions)
- Risk Management (1 position)
- Information Technology (3 positions)
- Organizational Development (2 positions)
- Town and Regional Planning (2 positions)
- Water Care (2 positions)
Total Intern Positions: 30
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens with a certified ID copy (not older than 6 months)
- Hold a Diploma, N6 Certificate, or Degree in a relevant field (with an official transcript or statement of results)
- Submit a comprehensive CV
- Provide proof of residence within Moses Kotane Local Municipality (dated within the last 3 months)
- Be 40 years old or younger
- Not have participated in any SETA-funded internships within the past two years
Benefits:
- Monthly stipend: R6,000
- 12-month contract between intern and Hamonate Consulting
