Dr J.S Moroka Municipality: Finance Internships 2017 / 2018 in Mpumalanga

Dr J.S Moroka Local Municipality offers 5 Finance internships positions for suitably qualified candidates who require workplace experience necessary to increase chances of securing employment in the above mentioned fields of studies. Successful interns will receive a stipends of R100 000 per annum during their placement.  This internships will run for a period of 2 years fixed term contract.

Internship Location: Mpumalanga

Field of Studies :

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Management with majors in Accounting, Economics, Auditing,  Cost and Management Accounting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Management with majors in Accounting, Economics, Auditing, Cost and Management Accounting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound understanding of computer literacy
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm to various components of financial management

Responsibilities

  • Full participation in the educational, workplace assignments and observance of policies and procedures in line with MFMA priority training areas
  • Compliation of financial statements and Management reports
  • Assisting with the management of capital and operating budget as we as the other reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Electronicaly capturing financial data
  • Assisting in the management of debtors, credit control process, supply chain,  assets and liabilities.
