The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) invites qualifying students and unemployed graduates residing in Johannesburg to apply for the Human Settlements Internship Programme 2025. This internship aims to provide valuable work-based learning aligned with academic or post-academic requirements.

Position Title: Internship Programme
Stipend:
- R10 109.86 per month (for those with completed qualifications – minimum 120 credits)
- R3 500.00 per month (for currently enrolled students)
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Diploma or Degree in:
- Business Management
- Business Administration
- Public Management / Administration
- Or a related field (NQF Level 6/7)
- No prior experience required
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
- Computer literacy in MS Office (especially Excel)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional administrative support for the Business Management Directorate
- Assist with monitoring, evaluation, compliance, HR, and strategic planning functions
- Undertake site visits or risk assessments to verify project data
- Help draft reports, concept notes, business plans, and quarterly submissions
- Handle confidential documents and information
