About the Apprenticeship
The programme provides a combination of workplace learning, hands-on training, and theoretical knowledge to prepare apprentices for a career as qualified Millwrights. Apprentices will work under the guidance of experienced mentors while contributing to smooth operational performance.

Contract Type: Fixed Term (3 Years)
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- N3–N6 with trade subjects
- Aged 18–35 years
- Employment Equity preference: Females are encouraged to apply
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Assist with fault finding and diagnostics to optimise production output.
- Conduct breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
- Drive breakdown reduction initiatives by analysing failures and implementing improvements.
- Participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) activities.
- Use problem-solving methodologies (Kaizen, Fishbone, 5 Why).
- Adhere to company safety rules, regulations, and 5S standards.
- Coach and support other staff in developing engineering skills.
- Contribute to continuous improvement recommendations.
