The Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship Opportunities for the 2025/27 financial years.
Internship Application Closing Date: 29 September 2025
Internship Location: Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
Successful candidates will be appointed on a 24-month internship programme and will receive a monthly stipend of R7 860.00.
Internship Fields and Requirements
Intern: Advocacy and Mainstreaming, Rights of Persons with Disabilities (1 Post)

- Qualification Required: Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation / Research / Statistics / Law
Intern: International Relations, Stakeholder Management and Capacity Building (1 Post)
- Reference No: DWYPD/MERCO2/2025
- Qualification Required: National Diploma/Degree in International Relations or Political Sciences
Intern: Social Empowerment of Women (1 Post)
- Reference No: DWYPD/JTJS03/2025
- Qualification Required: Honours Degree in Gender Studies / Development Studies
Requirements
- Applicants must be unemployed and have never participated in any government or parastatal internship programme.
- Placement is subject to personnel suitability checks.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications.
