About the MTN Fintech Internship Programme
The MTN Fintech Internship 2026 is designed to provide graduates with hands-on exposure to the dynamic world of digital finance and mobile money. Successful interns will support various functions across the fintech business, including:
- Digital Payments
- Mobile Money (MoMo)
- Product Development
- Operations
- Customer Engagement
Interns will also benefit from mentorship, professional development opportunities, and industry exposure, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to build a successful career in fintech and digital financial services.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Qualification: Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Honours, or Master’s Degree (completed by December 2024).
- Academic Performance: Minimum of 65% average for tertiary qualification.
- Experience: 1–3 years from a graduate or internship programme (advantageous).
- Eligibility: Must have legal work rights in South Africa.
