About Services SETA
Services SETA is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) established in terms of South Africa’s Skills Development Act. It is responsible for promoting and facilitating skills development within the services sector, which includes industries such as business services, finance, hospitality, cleaning, hairdressing, and property.
The organisation plays a key role in strengthening South Africa’s workforce by supporting training, internships, and skills development initiatives.
About the Internship Programme
The Services SETA Internship Programme is a 12-month work-based learning opportunity designed for unemployed graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Through structured exposure, mentorship and on-the-job training, interns will be able to apply the knowledge gained during their studies while developing essential workplace and employability skills. The programme also provides insight into public-sector operations and skills development programmes, improving participants’ readiness for future employment.
