Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- National Diploma, BCom, or Degree in:
- Internal Auditing
- Auditing
- Accounting
- Risk Management
- Related qualification
- Completed NQF Level 6 qualification or Degree
- South African citizen
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- High attention to detail and integrity
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Key Responsibilities
Successful interns will be involved in core internal audit functions, including:
- Assisting with internal audits in line with the annual audit plan
- Supporting audit planning activities such as risk assessments
- Participating in audit fieldwork and data collection
- Preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation
- Assisting with audit reports, findings, and recommendations
- Supporting follow-up audits and tracking corrective actions
- Maintaining audit records and performing administrative duties
- Upholding confidentiality, ethics, and governance standards
