About the Fermel Millwright Apprenticeship Programme 2026
Fermel (Pty) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of underground trackless mining equipment, is offering 8 Millwright Apprenticeship opportunities within its Production Department in Germiston.
This structured apprenticeship programme provides:
- Practical workplace training
- Technical skills development
- Preparation for a Trade Test
- Qualification as a Trade-Tested Millwright
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have a strong interest in engineering and manufacturing and are eager to gain hands-on industry experience.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Fermel Millwright Apprenticeship, applicants must have:
- Certified copy of South African Identity Document
- Certified copy of highest qualification (clearly visible)
- Proof of residence
- Mathematics and Physical Science at Matric level
- Engineering Studies N3, N4, or N6 OR NCV Level 3 or 4 in a relevant engineering field
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
Stipend
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of:
R3,500.00 per month
(Paid until completion of the Trade Test)
