About the NCIB Young Analyst Programme

The Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking (NCIB) Young Analyst Programme is designed to develop highly skilled graduates into future leaders within the banking and investment sector.

The programme focuses on data analysis, investment research, and strategic business support, helping candidates gain exposure to real-world financial markets and corporate investment strategies.


Job Purpose

Participants will assist in implementing investment strategies through:

  • Data analysis and research
  • Supporting investment decisions
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders
  • Contributing to business growth aligned with Nedbank’s strategy

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse financial and economic data to support investment decisions
  • Compile and monitor industry and economic research
  • Make investment recommendations using quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Present insights and reports to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Evaluate fund and investment performance
  • Support process improvements and system enhancements
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and financial trends

Minimum Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification or currently completing a 4-year degree
  • 0–2 years of working experience
  • Minimum 70% academic average across all years of study
  • Must be a South African citizen
