North West Community Safety and Transport Management Graduate Internships 2026/27

The North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management has opened applications for its 2026/27 Graduate Internship Programme.

This internship programme gives unemployed graduates an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience within the public sector.

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R8 174.75 for a period of 24 months.

A total of 50 internship opportunities are available across various directorates.

Who Should Apply?

This internship programme is aimed at young South African graduates between the ages of 18 and 35.

Graduates from fields such as Law, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Accounting, Internal Auditing, Transport Management, Human Resources, Communications, Social Sciences and related fields are encouraged to apply.

The programme is suitable for graduates who have completed their studies and need workplace exposure related to their qualifications.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be South African citizens.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

Applicants must have completed their studies.

Applicants must possess the relevant qualification for the internship they are applying for.

Applicants must be unemployed.

Applicants must not have participated in a government internship programme previously.

Applicants who have previously participated in any government internship programme will not be considered.
