Skills Training Programme.
Applications are invited from individuals in and around East London to apply for a 2-month Skills Training Programme at MBSA. This programme is aimed towards upskilling individuals with manufacturing shopfloor skills for potential employment in the local CBD/IDZ and general manufacturing-related industries.
Learning Outcomes
The Skills Training Programme will include, but not be limited to:
โข Keeping the work place area safe and productive
โข Operating hand tools and power tools
โข Using measuring equipment
โข Understanding production systems
โข Adhering to quality procedures
โข Supporting line supply.
Applicants must be a South African citizen with a minimum Grade 12 General Qualification OR a Grade 12 with Maths or Mathematical Literacy OR a full N3 Technical Certificate in the Mechanical or Electrical field. The applicant must be able to speak, read and write English and be willing to participate in the multi-phased assessment programme as well as a medical assessment.
