About the Clerk: Customer Services Position:
Absa is offering a permanent role for a Clerk: Customer Services to deliver excellent customer support, enhance client experiences, and support operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work within predefined procedures and ensure that all activities comply with Absa’s risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond efficiently, accurately, and courteously to all customer service matters, complaints, and requests
- Support and maintain operational processes within the Customer Services Centre
- Adhere strictly to Absa’s risk and compliance standards and relevant regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
- Take ownership of personal training and development initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required)
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of client service processes
- Ability to monitor and manage risk effectively
- Proactive approach to self-development
