AECOM SA: Bursaries 2024

AECOM SA is inviting South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024. Bursary Application Closing Date: 15 January 2023 As part of our commitment to grow and develop skills, experience and excellence in the built environment, AECOM SA (Pty) Ltd is offering bursaries to South African students that are pursuing a career and/or currently studying any of the below-mentioned fields of study. Applications will be considered from students, who comply with the entrance requirements for the below-mentioned fields of study, who intend to enroll for full-time studies and excel in their current field of study in line with the guidelines. Bursaries are offered for the following Fields of study:
  • Civil Engineering,
  • Electrical Engineering,
  • Mechanical Engineering, (including Rail Engineering),
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Environmental Science.
What Does The Bursary Cover?
  • Tuition Fees, Books, Accommodation all up to a maximum of R100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Rand) per annum.
  • A laptop up to the value of R8,000.00 (Eight Thousand Rand) once off.
Will The Bursary Be Available Throughout My Studies? The tenure of the bursary is subject to the approved bursar consistently achieving good academic results. Should a bursary holder’s academic results fall below an average of 65%, the continuation of the bursary may be reviewed. Obligations: The approved bursary holder will be required to work at AECOM post their qualification for every year AECOM contributed to the studies. Requirements:
  • Successfully passed Grade 12 (matric) or currently maintaining above 65% at a tertiary level
  • Must be a South Africa citizen.
  • Preferred average mark of 70% in Mathematics and Science
  • Preferred average mark of 65% in your most recent year at tertiary level.
  • Highly motivated individual.
  • Passion and commitment to pursue a career in the built environment.
