Apply for TCTA Bursaries 2025

Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA) invites student to apply for Bursary Programme 2025 academic year.
Bursary Application Closing Date: 31 January 2024
This bursary program aims to support academically deserving students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds who wish to pursue undergraduate degrees in certain fields.
Fields of Study:
- Auditing (Degree or BTech)
- Environmental Science / Environmental Management, Environmental Law (BSc or BTech)
- Financial Management / Treasury & Investment, Economics (Bachelor of Commerce)
Bursary Benefits:
The TCTA bursary will cover:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed books
- Learning tools
- Accommodation and meals
- Monthly allowance for living expenses
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: South African citizen
- Age: Under 35 years old
- Matric Status: Currently in Matric (2024) or already completed Matric with University entrance
- Matric Results:
- Minimum 60% for English, Science, and Mathematics
- If already studying, a minimum of 65% in all major subjects
- Field of Study: Full-time studies towards one of the listed undergraduate qualifications
- Tertiary Institution: Must be studying at or accepted to study at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Financial Need: Total household income of less than R350,000 per annum (before tax)
- Other Funding: Not receiving any other bursary or sponsorship funding
- Family: Must not be a child or close relative of a TCTA employee

- Documents to Submit: Complete the application form and submit it along with:
- Academic record
- Any other required documents (check the portal or bursary guidelines)
