Internship Location: Jet Park, Tzaneen, Kuruman, Wolmaranstad, Middelburg, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, East London, Mthatha, Empangeni, Nelspruit, Ethekwini, Piet Retief, Swaziland and Richards Bay.
Bell Equipment apprenticeships are as follows:
Apprentice Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic x 22
Requirements:
- N2 with four subjects with the relevant trade theory subject (Maths, Engineering Science, Diesel Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing or Industrial Electronics).
OR
- National Vocational Certificate (NCV) L4 ERD (Engineering Related Design) in Automotive.
OR
- Grade 12: Mathematics (Core), Physical Science, Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD) and Mechanical Technology.
- Due to the strenuous nature of the work, candidates should be in a good physical state and be prepared to undergo a medical examination and other job relevant tests.
- Valid Code EB (08) drivers licence.
- Applicants to reside within a 50km radius from the Bell Customer Service Centre.
Tuner and Fitter x 4
Requirements:
- N2 with four subjects with the relevant trade theory subjects (Math’s, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Fitting & Machining Theory) OR National Certificate Vocational (NCV) L4 ERD (Engineering Related Design)
- Applicants must pass ABET L4 Assessment (Numeracy & Literacy)
- Applicants who have competently completed a basic hand skills course will have an added advantage.
- Due to the strenuous nature of the work, candidates should be in a good physical state and be prepared to undergo a medical examination and other job relevant tests.
- Valid code EB (code 08) driver’s license.
- Applicants to reside within a 50km radius from the Bell Richards Bay factory.
Millwright x 6
Requirements:
- N2 with four subjects with the relevant trade theory subjects (Math’s, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing/Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory) OR National Certificate Vocational (NCV) L4 (EIC) Electrical Infrastructure & Construction
- Applicants must pass ABET level 4 assessment (Numeracy & literacy)
- Due to the strenuous nature of the work, candidates should be in a good physical state and be prepared to undergo a medical examination and other job relevant tests
- Valid code EB (code 08) driver’s license.
- Applicants to reside within a 50km radius from the Bell Richards Bay factory.
Boiler Maker x 3
Requirements:
- N2 with four subjects with the relevant trade theory subjects (Math’s, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing and Boilermaker / Platters trade theory) OR National Vocational Certificate (NCV) L4 ERD (Engineering Related Design with welding as subject.
- Applicants must pass ABET L4 Assessment (Numeracy & Literacy)
- Due to the strenuous nature of the work, candidates should be in a good physical state and be prepared to undergo a medical examination and other job relevant assessments.
- Valid code EB (code 08) driver’s license.
- APPLICANTS TO RESIDE WITHIN A 50KM RADIUS FROM THE BELL RICHARDS BAY FACTORY.
Auto Electrician x 2
Requirements:
- N2 with four subjects with the relevant trade theory subjects (Maths, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade theory or Motor Trade Theory.
- Applicants must pass ABET level 4 assessment (Numeracy & literacy)
- Due to the strenuous nature of the work, candidates should be in a good physical state and be prepared to undergo a medical examination and other job relevant tests
- Valid code EB (code 08) driver’s license.
- Applicants to reside within a 50km radius from the Bell Richards Bay factory.
