About the Apprenticeship
This fully funded apprenticeship is ideal for passionate, hands-on individuals with a strong interest in both mechanical and electrical systems. The programme offers a structured path combining theoretical training and on-the-job experience, ultimately leading to a Trade Test qualification as a Millwright Artisan.
What You’ll Learn
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Practical skills in a real food production facility
- Trade theory supported by FoodBev SETA
- Workplace mentorship from experienced artisans and engineers
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Currently unemployed
- Matric certificate with Maths and Science (minimum pass required)
- Technical subjects or N2–N4 qualifications are advantageous
- Keen interest in mechanical and electrical systems
- Committed to completing the 3–4 year apprenticeship
