Cape Gate: Erwin Robert Balde Bursaries 2024

Cape Gate invites student to apply for Erwin Robert Balde Bursary Programme 2023 academic year.

Bursary Application Closing Date: 20 January 2024

Duration: 1 year (renewable based on academic performance)

Field of Study: BCom (CA stream) degree, up to Honours level

Expenses Covered:

• Registration fees
• Tuition fees
• Book allowance
• Once-off computer allowance
• Personal allowance
• Accommodation in residence and meals or living allowance

Vacation Work: Students are required to undertake paid vacation work at the company during June/July or December/January holidays.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews and a psychometric assessment. Unsuccessful applicants will receive written notification.

Eligibility Requirements:

Criteria:

• Currently in Matric (2023) or completed Matric
• Minimum 70% for Mathematics in Matric
• Minimum overall average of 65% in Matric
• Studying or intending to study towards a BComm (CA stream) degree (undergraduate to Honours level)
• Studying or intending to study at a recognized and accredited South African University
• Demonstrated financial need
• Not receiving any other financial assistance
