Job Overview: Cape Winelands District Municipality (CWDM) is offering an Internal Audit Internship for recent graduates from 2023 to 2025. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of internal audit. Successful candidates will be based in Stellenbosch and receive an all-inclusive annual salary of R75,600.00.
About Cape Winelands District Municipality: CWDM is one of five district municipalities in the Western Cape Province, covering an area of 22,309 km2. The district is divided into five subdistricts, each with its own local municipality: Stellenbosch, Drakenstein, Witzenberg, Breede Valley, and the Langeberg. It is the second most populous area in the province, with a population of 895,529 people, and plays a significant role in the regional economy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning phase of audit activities.
- Participate in conducting audits as scheduled in the Internal Audit Plan.
- Complete audit files using the required templates.
- Provide administrative and audit-related support to the Division: Internal Audit.
Qualifications Required:
- National Diploma/Degree in Internal Auditing, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
