Cipla SA invites unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2023 / 2024

Internship Location: Western Cape, KwaZulu Natal, Gauteng

Program Objectives:

The Cipla Graduate Program aims to provide hand-picked graduates with real-work experience in business-critical areas within the pharmaceutical industry. Graduates will have the opportunity to work in various departments and gain insights into the pharmaceutical business. The program encourages teamwork, independent work, and collaboration using digital platforms. Graduates are expected to manage multiple tasks, apply a project management mindset, and effectively communicate with stakeholders. Additionally, graduates will learn to analyze and manage data, use digital software, and take ownership of their personal development.

Selection Criteria:

  • Applicants must be South African citizens aged between 18 and 28.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • A minimum qualification aggregate of 70% for your relevant qualification.

Graduate Program Expectations:

  • Graduates should be prepared to rotate across Cipla’s three sites.
  • The ability to work productively and efficiently, enjoy challenges, and perform well under pressure, both independently and within a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and data analysis capabilities to identify trends.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to make fact-based decisions and propose innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated drive, confidence, and resilience to complete tasks.
  • A growth mindset and the ability to learn from mistakes.
  • Digital literacy and proficiency with technology.

Requirements:

Education Qualifications:

Cipla is looking for graduates who have completed their final year of study (averaging 70% for the final year) in the following disciplines:

  • Computer and Information Sciences
  • Engineering – Mechanical, Industrial & Mechatronics
  • Economic Management Sciences – Accounting, Taxation & Economics
  • Graphic Design
  • Environmental Science, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology & Biotechnology
  • Industrial Psychology & Human Resources Management
  • Pharmacists (completed internship and community service)
  • Social Sciences – Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism & Media Studies
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Management
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
