The City of Johannesburg is recruiting for the following EPWP Jozi Ihlomile opportunities:

EPWP Jozi Ihlomile Educators.

EPWP Jozi Ihlomile Site Coordinators.

Stipend

Successful candidates will receive the following monthly stipend:

Educators: R4 000 per month.

Site Coordinators: R4 300 per month.

Data Coordinators: As advertised by the City of Johannesburg.

EPWP Jozi Ihlomile Educators 2026

Primary Function

Educators will conduct door-to-door health education in communities.

They will raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, TB and STIs.

Educators will also educate residents about substance abuse and help address stigma and discrimination.

They will refer community members to relevant services and support vulnerable households.

Educators will also complete reports and administrative records.

Requirements for Educators

Applicants must have Grade 12 / Matric or NQF Level 4.

Applicants must have knowledge of HIV/AIDS, TB, STIs and related social issues.

Good communication skills are required.

Applicants must have basic numerical skills and the ability to write reports.

Applicants must be able to use electronic devices.

EPWP Jozi Ihlomile Site Coordinators 2026

Primary Function

They will support outreach teams and help ensure the implementation of community health programmes.

Site Coordinators will compile reports, conduct quality assurance activities and liaise with Regional Health officials.

This opportunity is suitable for applicants with experience in community health programmes and leadership abilities.

Requirements for Site Coordinators

Applicants must have Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

Applicants must have at least one year of relevant experience in HIV/AIDS door-to-door education.

Good communication skills are required.

Applicants must be computer literate and able to use electronic devices.

Applicants must reside within the specified ward and provide proof of residence.
