City of Joburg invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Public Housing Internship Programme 2024 / 2025.

Internship Opportunity: Public Housing Programme – Department of Human Settlements
Remuneration:
- Qualification completed with a minimum of 360 credits: R9 531.54 pm (Basic Salary, no benefits)
- Enrolled as a student: R3 500.00 pm (Basic Salary, no benefits)
Minimum Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
- National Diploma in Town Planning/Civil Engineering/Project Management/Construction Management (NQF level 7) or
- N6 qualification in any built environment field (for candidates needing in-service training)
- Additional Requirement: Enrollment confirmation letter from the educational institution
- Residency: Only City of Johannesburg residents will be considered
Primary Function:
Provide project and administrative support. Act as a Project Coordinator on Public Housing Programmes and projects under the Public Housing Programme directorate within the Department of Human Settlements.

- Programme Coordination: Coordinate and monitor programmes and projects executed by the Public Housing Programme directorate.
- Compliance: Ensure procurement strategies, building contracts, and tender documents adhere to departmental requirements and procedures.
