De Beers Group invites unemployed matriculates to apply for Engineering Learnership Programme 2021 / 2022.

Learnership Application Closing Date: 15 July 2021

Learnership Location: Venetia Mine (Musina/Blouberg/Alldays) Limpopo

The incumbent will be required to successfully complete a structured MQA registered Learnership training programme to qualify as an Artisan.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Plater / Welder
Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths or equivalent

  • N2 Engineering Science
  • N2 Plating and Structural Steel Drawings
  • N2 Platers Trade Theory

Mechanician
Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths or equivalent

  • N2 Engineering Science
  • N2 Industrial electronics
  • N2 Mechanician Theory

Electrician
Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths or equivalent

  • N2 Engineering Science
  • N2 Industrial electronics
  • N2 Electrical trade theory

Fitter
Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths or equivalent

  • N2 Engineering Science
  • N2 Engineering drawings
  • N2 Fitting & machine trade theory

Rigger
Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths or equivalent

  • N2 Engineering Science

In addition to above minimum criteria the Incumbent wilt also meet the following requirements:

  • Able to travel.
  • Successfully obtain a Medical Fitness certificate on mine.
  • Your consideration for employment is subject to your SAPS Criminal Record verification and qualifications verification.
  • Psychometric and Technical assessments.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • CV’s must be accompanied with original certified proof of the minimum criteria and proof of residential address. No deviation to the minimum criteria as stipulated will be accommodated.
  • Please use reference number for specific discipline that you are applying for. Ensure that you meet the requirements for the apprenticeship as stipulated in the advertisement
  • The successful applicant will be appointed an a section 18.1/18.2 four-year Learnership contract.
  • Will receive formal training at our accredited training Centre In Randfontein as well as On-the-Job training at Venetia mine.
  • Consideration will be given to the Company’s Employment Equity Policy.
  • Only applicants from within the Labour sending areas of Venetia Mine (Musina/Blouberg/Alldays) and limited to Limpopo Province will be considered for this position.
