The Department of Home Affairs in collaboration with the Public Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) invite applications for the 2023 Cadet Learnership Programme.

This is a Youth Development Empowerment initiative that supports the National Development Plan’s idea of formalized recruitment schemes that through theoretical training and experiential learning, afford unemployed youth of South Africa the opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and experience whilst at the same time, positioning themselves for active and meaningful participation in the labour market.

The Cadet Learnership Programme compromises of both theoretical and practical components aimed at training on the National Certificate: Home Affairs Services which exposes learners to the core business of the Department (Civic Services and Immigration Services).

Preference will be given to youth who reside within close proximity of the office where the post is based.
