Dynamic Fluid Control, a local manufacturer of valves, is recruiting for Manufacturing Interns [x10 posts].

POSITION: Manufacturing Interns X10 (12 months contract) #DFC210823-3 

  • LOCATION: Benoni
  • REPORTING TO: Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT

The incumbent will form part of the production team. This is an opportunity for graduates to gain practical work experience within the manufacturing environment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)

Communicating and maintaining the required quality standards to other functions

Build customer relationships in order to understand their needs

Standards are met in terms of quality, quantity and due dates

Provide good quality results when accumulating data, processing data or reporting on data

Manage own work planning and delivery in accordance to instruction given by superior

Identify optimization opportunities and assist with the implementation thereof, under supervision

Provide technical support to multi-disciplinary teams in specific environments

Perform all tasks cost-consciously

Apply safety principles in the planning and execution of projects

REQUIREMENTS

Academic Qualification

  • N4-N6 Mechanical Engineering

Experience

  • No work experience required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Good understanding and knowledge of mining machines, components, application and operations an advantage. Driven, results orientated with strong time management and organizational skills.

Good understanding of Basic Design and Engineering practices

Basic Kinematics, hydraulic knowledge
