The setting of a date for a special occasion inspires Dintle to tell a lie. Zinzile makes a desperate plea, but is far from certain that it will be heeded. Kitso realises she is going to have to take responsibility for sorting out her own mess.

Mangi receives shocking news that will change his life forever. Stokkies starts to feel differently towards someone he thought was on his side. Lindiwe is thrilled when she is given permission to do something which was previously denied. Scelo is given an opportunity to flex his creative muscles.

Mangi asks a question which causes Dintle to threaten to end an imaginary life. Stokkies displays a vindictive streak. Two youngsters are well on the road to recovery from their ordeal, but someone else becomes ill. An unexpected meeting dampens Scelo’s ardour.

Dintle’s web of lies results in a triumph she has been dreaming of. Mangi is turned against someone close to him by an unlikely manipulator. A person who is usually the picture of health is rushed to hospital. A special achievement evokes both pride and concern in Scelo’s parents.

Dintle doesn’t immediately jump at what she has always wanted and physical violence is incited in someone who usually never resorts to it. Dorcas has a disturbing theory about why Lerumo is ill. Scelo thinks he has found the solution to his financial woes

Someone who is guilty of inciting a violent incident is stunned when the plan goes wrong. Traditional methods are turned to when science appears to be failing. Scelo finds himself in a sticky situation and is determined never to land up there again.

Anzani receives devastating news about Lerumo. Lindiwe decides to make amends in a fashion which will require courage. Dintle has to find proof to corroborate a lie, and Thembeka puts her foot down about the most important day of her life. Scelo believes he has solved all his problems, but a friend still needs convincing.

Lerumo is thrown a potential lifeline and Anzani is entrusted with taking care of the details. A stranger provides Dintle with just what she needs and Layla receives information which she hopes could prevent an event she doesn’t want to take place. Scelo and Kitso take care of some unfinished business.

Anzani discovers that the Dustbin Man’s persecution of her and Lerumo may have been worse than they realised. Dintle presents a lie to seal a deal which she hopes will ensure her future. Gloria walks in on something scandalous and a young man has to bribe her to keep quiet about it.

Layla is horrified when her past appears to be catching up with her once again. Beatrice decides to go the illegal route to save her son and approaches an old friend in prison. Zinzile becomes a force to be reckoned with on the home front.

A threat to the most important day of Thembeka’s life has Quinton reeling. A prisoner makes a partial admission to Cohen to assist someone the prisoner is indebted to. Cee-Jay gives Scelo advice which Scelo knows he can only heed temporarily.

Quinton offers a compromise which clearly does little to diffuse a threat. Desperate Beatrice contemplates the ultimate sacrifice for her son. Scelo receives a devastating blow and is forced to come clean about a lie.

Dintle completes a mission which is the last step on the road to her new life. Anzani considers taking a logical but terrifying step to save Lerumo. Scelo feels his life is spiralling out of control and is given some advice which probably won’t help much.

An event which is usually celebrated in freedom and with style plays out in captivity amongst bleak surroundings. Quinton becomes the subject of unwanted publicity. Dorcas convinces Anzani that tradition will turn her and Lerumo’s bad luck around. A fight leads to a major shift in Scelo’s personal circumstances.

Lucas is congratulated on a very important event – which he knows nothing about. Eddie decides to right a wrong in the press. Anzani crosses a dangerous line out of sheer desperation. Gloria believes she is moving up in the world because of the achievements of someone else.

Lucas finds out that Mangi is far more capable of behaving like his father than Lucas ever realised. Anzani feels she is being stalked but the stalker is not who she thinks it is. Disappointing news threaten to spoil a joyous homecoming.

Just when all seems right with Thembeka’s world, a secret comes back to haunt her. A high ranking police officer is given an angry order by a civilian. Gontse has plans for her future which a friend muscles in on.
