About EWSETA:

The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) is one of the 21 SETAs established in terms of section 9 of the Skills Development Act, 97 of 1998. Reporting to the Honourable Minister of the Department of Higher Education and Training, EWSETA is committed to advancing the energy and water sectors in South Africa.

Internship Requirements:

If you’re a young, qualified individual, EWSETA invites you to join their 12-month internship program for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 Fiscal Years. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the growth of critical sectors. EWSETA is looking for interns in the following areas:

  • Human Resources
  • ICT and Facilities
  • Marketing
  • Inter-departmental roles
  • Skills Planning
  • Energy Sector
  • Water Sector
  • Financial Management
  • Supply Chain Management

EWSETA welcomes applications from University Graduates, University of Technology, and T-VET Colleges students. Priority will be given to University of Technology and T-VET college students requiring in-service training to complete their qualifications.
