FASSET: Bursaries 2024

FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority) invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2024

Bursary Application Closing date is 15 February 2024

Bursaries are available for studies in various fields, including

  • Actuarial Sciences,
  • Accounting Sciences,
  • Auditing,
  • Economic Management Sciences,
  • Information Technology (IT)-related qualifications,
  • Taxation, and more.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Requirements:
    • Must be unemployed.
    • Must have completed Matric.
    • Must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification within the specified fields in 2024.
    • Must be studying or registered to study at a Public University, University of Technology, or TVET College in South Africa.
    • Total household income must not exceed R660,000 per annum.
  2. Expenses Covered:
    • Tuition fees.
    • Textbooks.
    • Accommodation.
    • Learner allowances/ meal allowance.

How to Apply:

    • ID document (certified copy) (not older than 6 months).
    • Highest Qualification & Academic record (certified copy).
    • Proof of registration and acceptance at an approved tertiary institution (stamped/signed).
    • Parents or guardians ID documents (certified copies).
    • Parents or guardians proof of household income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of pension or grant if applicable).
    • Proof of address.
    • Completed FASSET 2024 Unemployment Declaration Letter (.docx)
  3. Submission Email:
    • Email your completed application form and supporting documents to bursaryfunding@fasset.org.za.
    • Insert the words “FASSET Bursary 2024” in the email subject line.

Important Note:

  • Closing Date: 15 February 2024 (at 23:59 midnight).
  • Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted. Please apply before the closing date to ensure your application is considered.
