About the Programme
The Fraser Alexander Graduate Programme aims to:
- Develop graduates with real-world exposure to metallurgical processes.
- Build expertise in mineral extraction, metallurgical testing, and quality control.
- Strengthen analytical, technical, and project management skills.
- Prepare graduates for a career in the mining and metallurgical sector.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgical)
Skills:
- Data analysis and trend identification
- Metallurgical process knowledge
- Laboratory testing proficiency
- Basic project management principles
- Quality control and assurance
- MS Office proficiency (Excel and PowerPoint)
Personal Qualities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and innovation
- Effective communication skills
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Collaborative team player
Abilities:
- Technical problem-solving
- Time management and task prioritization
- Interpersonal and stakeholder engagement

Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Medically fit
- Clear criminal record (client screening)
- Successful client induction
- Willingness to undergo psychometric assessments
- Must not have participated in a similar graduate programme before
- Background screening of qualifications will be conducted
- Unemployed at the time of application
- Willingness to relocate to any Fraser Alexander site across South Africa
- Ability to work on-site and in office environments
