Hillside Aluminium: Engineering Bursaries 2018 in KZN

The Hillside Aluminium bursary scheme invites applicants to apply for Bursaries Programme for 2018. This Bursary programme is for deserving applicants who reside in the King Cetshwayo District. If you are currently a Grade 12 learner, or if you have already passed Grade 12 and achieved at least Level 6 in English, Mathematics (Core), and Physical Science, and you would like to study at a recognised university in one of the disciplines listed below, or, if you are presently studying full time towards an undergraduate degree in one of the disciplines, this bursary scheme could be just what you are looking for.

Undergraduate Degrees

  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
  • Mechanical Engineering

Bachelor of Technology (BTech):

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
  • Mechanical Engineering

Applications will be assessed on both academic merit and financial need. Depending on your performance, you may be selected for an assessment programme. Acceptance into the Hillside Aluminium Bursary Scheme is dependent on a successful interview and certificate of fitness. The bursary is renewable on an annual basis dependent on the bursar’s academic performance and conduct.

How to Apply

Applications forms are available electronical from the bursary administrator. Please contact Eileen Rudolph via email at adsec@mtnloaded.co.za. Application forms are also available for collection from the reception is, Hillside Aluminium, 9 West Central Arterial, Richards Bay.

Completed application forms together with supporting documents must be posted to Hillside Aluminium Bursary Scheme, c/o ADSEC Bursary Fund Administrator, PO Box 21397, Pumula, 4225.

Notifications

Applicants who do not receive any communication from the Bursary Fund Admin by 30 November, must accept that their application was unsuccessful.
