Investec High School Bursaries 2026: Apply Now

Investec invites academically talented learners in Grades 10 to 12 in 2026 to apply for the Investec High School Bursary Programme. This opportunity is aimed at learners from township and rural schools who demonstrate strong academic potential in key subjects, particularly Mathematics and Physical Science.
Bursary Application Closing Date: 30 September 2025
Applications open annually on 1 May. No late applications will be considered.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Investec High School Bursary, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be in Grade 10, 11 or 12 in 2026
- Have attended their current school for at least 1 year
- Achieve at least 70% in all subjects, with 70%+ in Pure Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and English
- Have financial need and demonstrate academic potential
- Remain enrolled at their current school (bursary does not cover school transfers)
School Criteria
Your current school must meet the following:
- At least 75% of learners taking Pure Mathematics
- 90%+ matric pass rate, with 80%+ university entrance rate
- 75% of learners achieving 50%+ in Pure Mathematics
- 80%+ of learners must pass English with 50%+
- A supportive, holistic learning environment
Required Supporting Documents (Certified Copies)
- South African ID or birth certificate
- 2024 June and final school reports
- 2025 June school report
- Certificates of school achievements
- Parent(s)/guardian(s) income documentation:
- Payslip, tax return, or affidavit (employed)
- Financial statements (self-employed)
- Sworn affidavit (unemployed)
- Death/divorce/separation documents where applicable
- A copy of your CV
