INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
Joburg City Theatres is contributing towards skills development by providing recent graduates an opportunity to intern at Joburg City Theatres in the following departments: IT, Marketing; Finance, Administration and Building Technology. The company is providing opportunities to gain work experience in the various theatre environments. Joburg City Theatres is therefore inviting applications for internship programmes that would run for a period of between 6 months to 12 months. The programme provides an opportunity for unemployed recent graduates to gain meaningful experience that will complement their studies and help facilitate access to the labour market.
DURATION AND REMUNERATION:
The internship programme is implemented for six (6) months and twelve (12) months respectively. Interns will receive a small monthly stipend.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY:
Recent graduates wishing to pursue a career in the theatre and entertainment technology are hereby invited to apply for a short term placement. Initial placement will be at the Joburg Theatre (Braamfontein) and Soweto Theatre (Jabulani) which are part of the Joburg City Theatres group. Placements vary from 6 months to 12 months.
We are offering hands-on practical experience within our theatre environments in the above mentioned departments. Please be aware that some of this experience will be gained whilst working evening and weekend hours

– Applicants must be South African citizens residing in Gauteng.
– Successful applicants will be required to transport themselves.
