Fields of Study:
- Bioresource Agricultural Engineering (BSc) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2 bursaries)
- Civil Engineering (Diploma) at any Higher Education and ECSA accredited institution (2 bursaries)
- Veterinary Medicine (BSc) at the University of Pretoria (5 bursaries)
- Veterinary Technology (Advanced Diploma) at Tshwane University of Technology (2 bursaries)
Number of Bursaries: 11
Expenses Covered:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation (in university residence)
- Meals
Expenses NOT Covered:
- Outstanding debts for previous years of study
- Accommodation outside the university residence
- Extramural activities
- Insurance
- Funeral cover
- Stationery
- Computer/laptop
Eligibility Criteria:
- South African citizen
- Resident of Limpopo province
- Currently in Matric (in 2023) or completed Matric
- Minimum 60% for Mathematics and Physical Science in Matric
- Accepted to study full-time in one of the specified fields at the designated universities
- Not receiving any other bursary funding or NSFAS
- Female students and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply
Documents Required:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric latest results (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Academic record/transcripts (if currently studying, on institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of registration/acceptance from a tertiary institution (on institution’s letterhead)
- Parents or guardians proof of household income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of SASSA grant if applicable, proof of pension if applicable, death certificate if deceased)
- Proof of residence
