Requirements
- LLB degree
- Admitted attorney (an advantage).
- Interest in financial services industry, specifically long-term insurance, retirement and associated products.
Duties
- Assist with legal functions relating to retail products and retirement fund governance.
- Keeping abreast of legislative developments.
- Reviewing, interpreting and implementing relevant legislation in collaboration with the Compliance Team.
- Legal research on pertinent issues that impact on the MML business.
- Drafting of responses to disputes.
- Drafting of legal updates on industry topics.
- General Corporate Governance issues.
