N3 Toll Concession (N3TC): Bursaries 2024

N3 Toll Concession (N3TC) invites South African students for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.

Bursary Application Closing Date: 12 January 2024

N3TC is offering bursaries to students residing in specific municipalities along the N3 Toll Route corridor in Mpumalanga, Free State, and KwaZulu-Natal provinces. The bursaries are available for studies in specific fields at undergraduate level:

  • Accounting
  • Civil Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Marketing
  • Mathematics and Science Teaching

Bursary Coverage: The bursary will cover tuition fees and mandatory textbooks. Other study-related expenses, such as accommodation, may be considered by N3TC based on discretion.

Bursary Obligations and Selection: Bursaries will be awarded for one academic year initially, with extensions subject to N3TC’s discretion. Shortlisted candidates will receive feedback, while unsuccessful applicants should consider their application unsuccessful.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • South African citizenship
  • Residency within specific municipal areas along the N3 Toll Route corridor
  • Matric completion
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the specified fields
  • Entering the 3rd, 4th, or Honours year of study in 2024
  • Studying at a recognized and accredited South African university
  • Strong academic performance with a minimum overall average of 60%
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • No outstanding student debt

  • ID document
  • Matric certificate
  • Full academic record/transcript
  • Proof of university registration
  • Proof of residence
  • Parent/guardian proof of household income

Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted before 17:00 on 12 January 2024. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
